Welcome all of you to Truelight Photographic
Studios. It is a pleasure to design your custom
portraits.
Please plan ahead for your sitting. Be well
rested and consult with the photographer ahead of time to
determine desired clothing, props and poses. Plan your
hairstyles, make-up and clothing well, avoiding extreme styles
that may quickly "date" your portraits. Avoid excessive make-up
and heavy use of blues, violets and greens that might appear to
be bruising, Remember, simple is best.
Coordinate group clothing. Don't mix formal and
casual or light and dark clothing. Solid colors with long
sleeves, rather than strong patterns are best for low key
compositions. Darker colors tend to reduce body size. White or
light pastel colors are best for high key work. Please give
careful matching attention to your choice of socks and shoes.
Feel free to bring a few coordinated clothing
changes.
Our studio offers you very pleasant surroundings
with private dressing room and washroom facilities if you feel
the need to adjust your hair or make-up. Relax with a warm cup of
coffee or tea, fine background music and enjoy your
experience.
